A: Yes, you can install on the server. If it's running on a Citrix Server, then just install it on the server. If it is a Standard Server, the customer would have to install it on the desktops. Also, if running on the Citrix Server, there is a requirement to purchase another licence - 1 for use, 1 for Server.

A: Yes. To obtain the media, you will need to download it from the MyCitrix website.

A: This is the very basic version of Citrix. It is quite popular in companies with around 15 users, but it doesn't have many of the features contained in Advanced or Enterprise Edition. Also, you have to purchase in multiples of 5.

A: Citrix have made it so all the process and licensing is done electronically (this is called easy licensing) through the MyCitrix portal and you don't need any server licences and once over 5 licences, you can buy in any amount.

A: Presentation Server 4.5 is viewed as the main Citrix product and comes in 2 forms - Presentation Server 4.5 Advanced and Presentation Server 4.5 Enterprise.

Advanced Edition would usually be used in a smaller environment where as the Enterprise product is more suited to larger companies as it has extra features, mainly the enhanced management skills such as reporting capabilities and the ability to roll out onto multiple servers at once from 1 console which add a lot of benefit when dealing with larger number of users (which you are unable to do with Advanced).
