Don't let illegal software spread through your business - it is unsupported and often riddled with viruses! Moreover the presence of Pirated software has never been so high - it gets into the market and onto computers in numerous unsuspecting ways - and often you dont even realise you are breaking the law.
Using Adobe Genuine Licensed Software means you have the very best tool for the job - a tool that has been tested; a tool with full customer support; a tool with no viruses.

These organisations act as industry watchdogs to identify and prosecute offenders, create legtislation to protect software manufacturers, provide tools to identify unlicensed software and provide useful information to help organisations stay compliant.
Piracy is the unauthorized use or reproduction of copyrighted or patented material. With regard to computer software, piracy is the term used for copying, selling, or using software that hasn't been properly licensed - or paid for. Software piracy is illegal.
Being familiar with the different types of software piracy can help ensure you are always purchasing legitimate products and free of worry from the potential bugs, system crashes, and viruses associated with pirated software:
End-user piracy
Many people are unknowingly guilty of end-user piracy. Using one licensed copy to install a program on multiple computers or servers would
be an example of end-user piracy.
Internet Piracy
Software is illegally downloaded from the internet - the only way to legitimately purchase Adobe software for download is through the Adobe store.
Hard-disk loading
The purchasing of new computers is made more attractive by businesses loading illegal copies onto the hard disk. These computers are not eligible for support, training or upgrades, and you could end up having to purchase all new software.
Software counterfeiting
Pirates illegally duplicate and sell copyrighted material, making it appear to customers that they are purchasing an authenctic product. Again, this is not eligible for support, training or upgrades.

Established in 1988, the BSA represents leading software and e-commerce developers in 65 countries
Can I install work software at home if instructed to do so by my supervisor?
That depends. Some licenses permit the installation of two copies: one at work, one on a home or traveling (e.g. laptop computer) — normally with the note that each copy is to be used by the same person and that the two are not to be used simultaneously.
Can I legally copy my friends' software?
No. Software is protected by federal copyright law, which says that you can't make additional copies of software without the permission of the software publisher.
What do I get out of purchasing my own software?
When you purchase authorized copies of software programs, you may receive user guides and tutorials, quick reference cards, the opportunity to purchase upgrades, and technical support from the software publishers. With authentic Adobe software, your programs are safe, stable, and backed by a partner you can trust. For most software programs, you can read about user benefits in the registration brochure or upgrade flyer in the product box.
